The last few days were lazy days, as it should be sometimes.
Saturday I went for a picnic in a park “ La Peyrou” with other Erasmus students. Among them many new faces. As my biorhythm thinks in the weekend thinks that two ‘o’ clock in the afternoon is ten ‘o’ clock in the morning it was a nice “wake-up” event to start this lazy weekend. We played a bit volleyball, went for ice-cream (Mc Flurry we love you) and enjoyed the early spring weather.
In the evening I really needed to stay in for a night, sometimes an evening of rest can do good. And I needed to prepare for a Skype meeting with my thesis promoters on Monday. Damn you, scholarship application! That thing is eating a to big portion of my precious Erasmus time. I'll hope the work will be rewarded by obtaining it. The deadline is the 4th of march, so after that we can go from 90% to 100% fully enjoying the Montpellier life.
Sunday afternoon (after another day of "lazyness in the sun") I suddenly had the “I have too much energy and I have to set it free” mood so I went running. Oh my, I still don’t really know which road I took but after running for about 45 minutes I found my way back home. It was a nice hour of running in the late-afternoon sun though. (without a hoodie!)
In the evening I went to town for a goodbye “chocolat chaud” with Daniella because she’s leaving to Barcelona for a week and by the time she gets back I’m on snowboard trip for a whole week. Two weeks of no Spanish-French conversations with the Columbian folle, ça me va manquer!
On the way home I noticed how calm Montpellier is today, which is strange as you normally expect many young people in the streets at every hour of the day. But many French students have left town, because of the one-week holiday next week. I’m not leaving yet, on contrary I'm full of energy for a new week of Montpellier shizzle.
Bonne nuit met petites pilous.
