So where were we? I suddenly remembered that I didn't post the final pictures of my Vietnam trip yet... I've been back in "la Belgique" since christmas but anyhow better late than never.
Here we go! After visitting Tam Coc we took the plane Hanoi --> Hue and visited some pretty awesome historical sites there. Let the pictures be your guide...

Oyster lake on the way to Hoi An
At the end of our day in Hué we travelled (exhausted but satisfied) to Hoi An for a relaxing stay of 5 days which was maybe a tat too long. Hoi An is really beyond cliché beautiful. At first you may be put off by the many lanterns, tourists and disneyland-like scenery but after a while you realize that it's not artificial but just the way this village is. I truly loved it.

And then after Hoi An we finally moved south ward, trough Da Nang from which we flew all the way too Ho Chi Minh city. The city even more crazy then Hanoi! So busy, so many motorcycles, such contrast between the many modern buildings and old houses, many modern coffeeshops, kids and teenagers posing in front of desingerstores like Chanel and Hermès really made me laugh.
We did escape the second day to a much calmer place: Turtle Island, a cosy Island were only natives live and fill their days with making products out of coconuts.
And before hitting our 13 hour plane ride home we enjoyed the benefits of cheap and high quality spa treatments in Vietnam. Long live massages and pedicures (hit me if I sound like Paris Hilton).

So that was my way too short last post of a way too awesome country.Wanna go back someday soon. Anyone?
