Hidiho!
I'm back since saterday from a snowboardtrip to the skiresort "Les Deux Alpes" with Lien and Ana. Ana is a Spanish erasmusstudent who also studies in Lien's school and who uses every five minutes the word madderf*cker (with! Spanish accent please) :-)
We actually thought the trip was never going to happen, first we didn't find an affordable place to stay there for a whole week cause we were the only 3 who wanted to go snowboarding. When we finally found this youthhostel and booked it, the guy called to tell us that on the sixth night we should move to some other place. But as by wonder, 3 people cancelled their stay that day and we could be there the whole 6 days, sleeping like roses after days being from dust till dawn on our snowboards and skis.
After two traintrips and a bustrip full of annoying schoolchildren (Ana was so convinced that they would stay at our hostel that we were inventing the whole bustrip long how horrible our week would be with 20 yelling schoolchildren). Luckily they got off the bus at another stop. fffieuw.
We arrived late in the evening and the next morning we woke up early to go to breakfast and after that to get our skipasses and hushed to the first slope-descent of the year.
The weather was awesomely great (the snow wasn't that great) but luckily there was a good snowpark and we discoverd the last 2 days that you could bring your meat and grill them on the BBQ of the snowpark for lunch. So what do "clochards" do? Yes grill their sandwiches on the bbq.

Every afternoon we gathered at the Pano Bar, a bar on the piste where a superfunny dj played every afternoon a very very veryyyy partyproof set. Very crowded place with hilarious dressed up people. I saw people snowboarding dressed up as Bananas, Jack Sparrow, Strawberries,... The list goes on.

The Jack Sparrow guy was some weird Italian who actually really looked like Jack Sparrow and explained to us (while he was managing to go down the icy black slope) how he would probably die going down the black slope in his not so sober condition. He was also very fascinated by Liens dreadlocks. I passed for black slopes after a few try-outs that week. Toooo much ice. But at least the weather was nice, my face can tell. By applying sunscreen in a not so professional kind of way, people can look the next few weeks at my heterogene tanned face.
Totally uploaded with energy after a week in the mountains I returned back to Montpellier on Saterday. That's were reality hitted me: NON STOP RAIN + I had an microbiology exam on Monday + just after I arrived I heard the great news we had a test on wednesday about waterfiltrationplants. Oh and did I mention that I missed a week of classes? So yip I was heading towards a nervous breakdown. Monday I entered 10 minutes to late in class with my headphones still on, so I didn't realise my phone was beeping like hell until I saw the whole class was laughing and looking like "What the heck is she doing?". So far my discrete entrance after one week of missing classes. Hm, embarassing I can tell.
But now it's already thursday and all of that has passed. The exam monday was weird, we'll see what it gives and then the test yesterday, hmm no comment. Let us say: The professor gave us 10 questions on the blackboard in freaky French (French = language you don't want to make tests with...) and by the time I had sort of translated the questions in my head we were obliged to stop writing. At least I wrote "ERASMUS" on top of the page in big letters. Last night there was a "soirée" chez Marie, a girl of our class. She is from Strassbourg and people there apparantly eat Flammenkuch. So that's what we did, and after that we went to celebrate Saint Patrick, wich is actualy today. So tonight we do it over. The people of our class really spend so much time together, it's actually amazing and I'm so happy that they invite the weird Belgian girls to their parties!
So far this update about my state of well-being! I know it has been a long time that I wrote something here but: Dear friends and Family, I'M STILL ALIVE!
